Travis agradece a sus fans su quinto puesto en la lista de ventas de Reino Unido

 Al final no pudo ser, a pesar de llegar a la mitad de semana en el puesto #1 en los midweeks de Official Charts, 10 Songs finalmente solo pudo ser #5, lastrado por el escaso streaming de la banda escocesa. 

El disco, eso sí, pudo ser #1 en su tierra natal, Escocia. 

A pesar de todo, Travis asume su posición y felicitó a los fans con este pequeño video.

Travis anuncia 10 Songs, su nuevo disco, a la venta el 9 de Octubre de 2020

2020 puede que esté siendo un poco diferente a lo que esperábamos, pero para compensar, nos dará un nuevo disco de Travis. 

La banda de Glasgow, que anunciaba el lazamiento de A Ghost el pasado 2 de Junio (luego movido al día 3 debido al BlackOutTuesday, anunció el que será su noveno álbum de estudio. 

10 Songs, como su nombre indica, tendrá 10 canciones, entre las que se encontrarán Kissing In The Wind o A Ghost. Puedes ver el listado completo

Travis estrena A Ghost, el segundo single de su nuevo disco

Travis ha anunciado su nueva canción, A Ghost, que estará incluída en su nuevo disco, 10 Songs, a la venta a finales de año. 

La canción estaba prevista estrenarse ayer día 2, pero fue pospuesta debido al BlackOutTuesday, un día de cierre virtual del mundo de la música debido en apoyo a la lucha contra el racismo.

Travis lanzará un nuevo disco en directo el 21 de Junio de 2019

Travis ha anunciado el lanzamiento de un nuevo disco, esta vez, en directo. Su mítica actuación en Glastonbury 1999 se pondrá a la venta el próximo 21 de Junio, en formato digital, CD y Vinilo.

Almost Fashionable, una película sobre Travis

Fran ha anunciado, a través de la carta que está a continuación, el estreno de un documental sobre Travis. 

Si fuiste a alguno de los conciertos de México en 2016, quizá fueras entrevistado por un periodista inglés y filmado por un cámara rumano. El cámara, Cristian Pirjol, grabó la película de "Everything At Once". El periodista es Wydham Wallace. Es un hombre encantador y un buen escritor, pero la razón principal por la que estaba cubriendo nuestro viaje era porque no era de sus mayores fans de la banda. Pensé que un documental desde un ángulo inusual sería más interesante que del de un periodista que es un fan. Y resultó que estaba en lo cierto.

El último año y medio he estado sentado en la sala de edición con mi editora, Sarah Iben (Editora de Everything At Once" y hemos pasado de 50 horas de grabación a 1 hora de documental de mis tres compañeros y yo. 20 años en una banda, visto a través de los ojos de nuestros increíbles fans de México, a través de las lentes de un fotógrafo brillante y por el micrófono de uno de los mejores periodistas... que no es fan de la banda. 

El documental se llama "Almost Fashionable - A Film About Travis" y estuvo en Cannes ayer. El Festival Internacional de Edinburgo anunció su estreno para Junio de este año.

Estoy muy orgulloso y entusiasmado.

Travis iniciará su gira europea en Madrid

Travis iniciará su gira europea en España, concretamente, darán dos conciertos en país, en Madrid y en Barcelona. 

El 3 de junio de 2018, la banda comenzará su tour conmemorativo The Man Who en la mítica sala La Riviera, para luego dar su segundo concierto en España en la sala Razzmatazz de Barcelona. 

Las entradas para ambos conciertos, y para el resto de la gira por Europa, se pueden comprar desde la web oficial. (http://www.travisonline.com/) Los precios son de 40,00€ en ambos casos y para acceder a la sala hay que ser mayor de edad o si tienes 16/17 años, ir acompañado de un tutor legal. 

El resto de sus conciertos se limitan a uno en Suiza el día 6 de Junio y ya luego darán el salto a las islas británicas, con 9 concieros en Inglaterra en Junio, otro en Irlanda en agosto y otros 7 en Inglaterra y Escocia en Diciembre. 

Travis anuncia un nuevo concierto The Man Who

Travis ha anunciado a través de su Instagram oficial que van a tocar The Man Who al completo como parte de la celebración por parte de "Unique Moments" a los "Álbumes de Una Generación". El concierto tendrá lugar el próximo 6 de Junio de 2018 en Zurich, Suiza.

Las entradas para el concierto, que tendrá lugar en el Landesmuseum de Zurich, saldrán a la venta este lunes 5 de Febrero de 2018 a las 08:00 AM.

Ultimas horas para comprar edición especial The Man Who

The Man Who cumple 18 años y por ello Travis ha decidido lanzar una edición especial con el vinilo, el cd oficial y además incluir un vinilo con las b-sides favoritas del grupo y otro CD con todas los b-sides de la era. La edición inicial numerada 2000 copias ya no está disponible, al agotarse en solo unas horas debido a la gran demanda.

Travis dará un concierto en el Gran Premio de Gran Bretaña

Travis dará el pistoletazo de salida al Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 de Silverstone, Gran Bretaña, con el concierto inaugural del 13 de Julio.

Travis hará una mezcla de sus clásicos de toda la vida junto con canciones de su último disco, Everything At Once.

Los tickets para el concierto están disponibles desde solo 40 libras.
